Question First time......

Hey all. This is my 1st thread. I just registered about 5 mins ago. I'm gonna purchase a DC sport 4-1 header and was wondering about heat problems. I think the stainless steel holds in heet beter than the ceramic. Is this true? Can anyone clear this up for me?

r u sure

think about ti are you going to go all motor.....

when i first bought my car i wanted to fix it up right away so the famous first mod was aem intake. (regret)-2nd dc header(regret)aem pullys(regret) sorry ass coilovers(regret)
reason i regret is because i wasted all that money cause i dont even need those parts im going to go turbo so i have to get rid of those parts i wish i knew what i know now aout imports back when i first got my car....

im fixing my suspension at the moment

1 gc coilovers 350f 400r in my room
2 koni yellows ordering in one week
3 camber kit ordering in one week

then customizing my turbo

just think about what you want in the future
stainless steel does hold up better.......

what kindda mods have you done so far....and personally...if you ant to FI someday..hold off on the header....you'll only have to sell it later...or keep it on the shelf in your room!!! but as for the header...get a 4-2-1...the 4-1 is really only good for high end horsepower and I hear that it robs you of bottom end...so get a 4-2-1...greaddy makes a good one

DC Sports headers SUCK. The 4-2-1 does not make any power on the Si and the SS have a habit of rusting at the flange. I have seen 3 of them do it. And DC will not do anything about it. My gf put the 4-2-1 on her Si and ofter a year the flange showed signs of rust. We had it taken off and sent to DC Sports and they held on to it for 2 months and are now sending it back. It never got wet, was garaged every night and was steam cleaned once. The rust was there before it was cleaned.

intake, header and exhaust if u think about it cost around a 1000 or more and only give u like 3 to 5 horse each if ur lucky. might as well buy a turbo if u paying like almost 1000 already.

Talking

I highly recomend the Dc Sports 4-1 header(ceramic). Stray away from the 4-2-1. B16 motors are all about the topend performance. It droped my quarter mile times greatly, best $240.oo spent so far.
