Flamenco Black Front hood instead of Carbon hood?

Flamenco Black Front hood instead of Carbon hood?

I have a TW civic and I found a good deal to buy oem black hood.

I wanted to buy carbon hood, but that costs me $400.

What do u think?

Will it look good on my TW civic?

Thanks.

Is it rice? Why?

If getting black hood is rice, what about getting carbon hood?

Flamenco black pearl hood is pretty shiny for look.

I just dont wanna waste $ for carbon hood.

That black hood is only $50...that was why Im thinking of.

Thats it.

I think it would look good from far away...but when i got close and seen it is just painted black i would think that it's gay. But then if i found a oem hood for 50 bucks, i would buy no matter what.

well the point of a CF hood is weight reduction, and we all know any weight we can get out of the front of our FF cars is for the best. get the hood if you really want a black hood, but it wont be cool:

A black hood an a TW civic?? Like the other guy said it'll look good from far way, I think it'll look like you replaced your hood and couldn't afford to get it painted. Carbon fiber body parts were designed so that the car is lighter it wasn't meant for looks. My advice: save the money and get a performance part or get a genuine c/f hood. Peace

true...the main reason of getting a new hood, especially c/f is for wieght reduction or show. But if your hood is messed up go buy it. The choice is yours, but it would look kinda wierd...just say its fiberglass, lol.

or you could buy the hood and then customize it! Slice it, dice it make it different then paint to match. Now that would be cool!
weight reduction depends on how big of a hole you cut. I say go for it.

that would look really cheap. like someone else said it'd just look as if you messed up your stock hood and cant afford to paint the new one. either get a cf hood or just keep your stock one.
