Unhappy getting started

Hi everybody. I am getting started on my car and i don't know what to do next. I have a 00si and the only thing I have put on her is an aem cai. I have an msd ignition and coil but I haven't put it on yet. What should I purchase next? Please help me spend my money wisely.

lower it (properly: shocks, maybe coilovers if youve got the $$) cat-back exhaust...the list could go on forever but im getting tired- good luck with whatever you do.

I also have to say go with the suspension. Its a great first mod, and it's something you can do while you decide the future plans of your car.

For example, if you get I/H/E and then decide to get a turbo, you just wasted money. With the suspension, you can use it with anything.

Like Myflysi said, make sure if you decide to lower it that you do it right.

I'll agree with the suspension. Other than a homemade CAI, the suspension was the first biggest mod of mine. You'll be happy with it!

I agree with everyone else. New suspension is key. I love my setup:

Koni Yellows
Eibach Pro-kit
Comptech rear sway/tie bar setup.

To save some money, you can substitute the Konis for Tokiko's and get an eibach or neuspeed sway kit.

Go with Tanabe Sustecs. Full coilovers. Great handling, a bit pricy, but awesome. I loved mine.

my suggestion

if u havent really ultimately decided what u going to do with ur car, then do some things that u can keep like vootecsi said do a full suspensionsetup, no power adders but you will drop like 3/10 of a second off your time, then go with a short shifter there goes another 1/10 of a second, get some traction bars or something ther goes wheelhop, which means more traction, there goes more seconds, do the suspension setup right and by the time u get all that done you will probably have decided what u are going to do. maybe takke some weight off the car.
