My 06 Civic Si is burning oil :mad

Hey everyone. I have discovered that my 06 civic Si is burning oil. I dont know how much it is burning yet as i'm still trying to figure out. I was wondering if any of your late model si's have oil problems or is it just me. Any suggestions?. Let me know... Thx

i would find it bizarre that your rings would be gone already on an 06.

ya i checked them yesterday morning and they look perfectly fine. Took some work to get to them but they look brand new. So I dont know what is causing the problem.

B series motors maybe, but I've never seen a K20 burn oil in VTEC.

02 Civic Si. I changed my oil about 1500 miles ago. I used 5w30 Castrol GTX despite the 5w20 requirement. its still clean and hasn't dropped enough that I can even notice it? its got 80,000 miles on it, so its definitely broke in now. Maybe its the thicker Oil?
