my civic si, PARTS STOLEN
TO THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS IN SAN FRANCISCO WHO STOLE MY FRONT BUMPER COVER, GAUGES, AND CLIMATE CONSOLE, I HOPE YOU FREAKIN DIE IN SOME SORT OF FIERY EXPLOSION.
Sorry guys, just venting. I stayed with my GF overnight and when i was going to leave in the morning i found that my SI's front bumper was gone along with my gagues, and climate console . I'm not that upset that i need to fix everything, im just upset that there are people out there who can destroy the property of others without a second thought . Luckily, i had my autolock on which may have given them a little too much trouble to steal the entire car. My civic is my DD and it sucks that it is out of commission for a while till I at least get gauges. I already bought a generic front bumper cover w/o a lip.
Anybody in the bay area, if you see any suspicious sale of a civic si gauge or front bumper, it might be mine, so ENJOY IT if ur buying it lol. Also, any 99-00 civic si ppl here got a gauge cluster they might be willing to sell me so i can get back on the road? Any help would be appreciated. AND NEVER PARK ANY NICE CAR BY USF OVERNIGHT...even though it looks pretty safe.

Update for you all. I FOUND my bumper on another civic si like 5 miles away from school, it's by my friends house near stonestown mall. I know it's mine for sure because of several identifying marks that I know of on my bumper. I was tempted to wait for the guy, but i decided to do the safe thing and just report it to the SFPD, gave em the plate# and VIN of the car that has MY bumper on it now. I hope that the owner of the car was a clueless buyer and did not have anything do do with the theft. Hopefully something can be done, but i can already see the red-tape starting to block a good resolution. Thanks for ur support guys!

yeah...thank god for that Autolock . It's not impossible to steal a car with it on, but i'm sure it makes it a real pain in the ass. Highly recommend it, cuz my factory alarm didn't do shit, they just unhooked the battery lol.

I had samething happened to my 95 integra many years ago. It had 16" alloy wheels since it was a special edition. I found it was sitting on four bricks in front of my house at one morning. They took all four of them cuz I didn't realize that I should install wheel locks on them.
That's why I installed wheel locks on my 07 si now.
BTW, what is autolock? Is the power steering wheel lock you are talking about? or the auto engine cut off system that comes with the car?

it's like that red thing you put on the steering wheel, but it's used on the clutch or brake. It prevents anyone from depressing the clutch while the lock is on, meaning you can't start the car, or shift gears. If you put it on the brake...well, you get the point hehe .
