My transmission seems kind of loose/smooth

I accidentaly redlined in 1st and shifted to second really fast about an hour ago and now my transmission seems kinda easier to shift than usual. What the fuck happened, did i break something:

Hahaha thats called breaking her in

You should be ashamed of yourself..."I accidently redlining" You should be redling atleast once per day:

Now I want you to go out, and redline your car 6 times, then come back, and tell me about it

JK....

Your car will be just fine!!!

Well it has 40k miles on it so im assuming its broken in. Unless u are reffering to breaking it in daily which i never thought about but it makes sense. So if i warm up the engine the transmission will become looser feeling?

Yeah, all joking aside, when the trans is cold, the shifter feels much tighter. As it warms up, it will get looser.

Also have you had your fluid changed yet? I did mine at around 30k...I just used the OEM Honda synthetic fluid.

Its s good idea to get it done especially if you drive it hard.

Transmission fluid. It should be changed every 30,000 miles or 2 years, if I remember correctly.

I change my tranny fluid every 15,000 miles. Considering I autocross about 30 times a year And now I'm doing track days...

But yeah a healthy dose of redline is a requirement everyday when you own a Honda

well...this wasnt a very healthy redline. i didnt mean to do it and just threw it into second still didnt have traction, finaly got traction put it into third and then my transmission felt kind of loose like i had broken something. The reason this happened is a long story but it originates from me trying to get my wallet out of my back pocket
