make sure the engine even runs and u can get an ECU from the junkyard...
Parts stores sell re-manufactured ECMs, just call and ask for pricing. With the part number from the old one, they will get you an exact replacement. Programming or 'calibrating' the unit is not necessary. Installation is simply a matter of unbolting the old one, unplugging it from the harness, then reversing the procedure for the new ECM. Some are harder to get to than others, a Chilton's manual (about 20 bucks) will detail the operation step-by-step. Be sure your ECM is actually faulty before replacement, In the parts biz, and lots of people buy ECMs without troubleshooting properly, and are mad later when they find out that the computer wasn't the problem.
if your looking for peformance i would recomend getting a chipped p28 ecu with a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness its all plug and play
if you just looking for a stock replacement ecu for your si they come a dime a dozen online like honda-tech.com just make sure the ecu says p2t on the white label of the ecu that one will plug right in to your si.
