Need an opinion

I have an FBP Si. I just sold my K-1 wheels and am very close to selling my stock Si wheels. I have about 1300 to play with. I sold the K-1's planning on keeping the money and buying a set of SSR Compitions. I would have to wait until next spring to get these wheels. Today I was thinking with this money I could do some serious work on the engine. I was thinking Type R cams and intake manifold and a header. What do you think? Make the car fast or replace a good looking set of wheels with a better looking set.

I would upgrade the fuel system, cams and then through a nitrous kit on.
