Well... the serial number can be the engine number actually... you could post some pics of your engine to make it sure...
As far as I know there is no jdm b16a2, but b16a...

ok... if you plan to rebuild your engine why bother with the engine code? lets get our hands on business~
Valvetrain:
Check on my threads, Snoppy helped me a lot about the valvetrain upgrade~! search and choose yourself~
Pistons:
If you plan to stay B16, you can get CTR pistons.... there is always the possibility of sleeving and making it bigger~
Cams:
what are your goals???? how much power?

Crower, Eagle make pretty good foged internal kits. If he was going all motor then maybe CTR piston, but not for boost. I would go with Skunk2 valve train and cams. There is alot more than that, but keep researching.

ok heres what i think so far
im prolly gonna go with a skunk two valve train and a stage 2 boost cam
as far as pistons im thinkin prolly je 8.5-1 or 9-1 bc the end result is with a turbo kit
thanks for all the help still will take any advice anyone has to offer

depending on how much power you want to make, you can retain the stock rods and pistons. they are good for 300-350whp with a good tune. the stock cams work great with boost. so no need to upgrade those.

the stock setup with tuning you say ? i didnt know how the compression would factor into the boost im not looking to run real high boost and i want to rebuild anyway so i guess if something happens it wouldnt be that big of deal as long as i dont throw a rod through the block or some crazy shit. heres another good question anyone delt with ebay turbo kits dont really want to go that route but they are cheap and have almost everything seems it would be a lot cheaper then piecing a kit together

what you can do is use a thicker cometic headgasket to drop compression a little, use arp headstuds and rod bolts on the stock rods.
ebay kits in general just suck ass. you end up spending more in the long run replacing shit that breaks.
