kusyurdaddy is an unknown quantity at this point
need some help if possible

sup. i just put in a b18a into a 90 civic.had to do a dual point to mpfi.
car runs fine. but when driving for a while. the check engine light will come on.with a code 20. for a eld. when the light comes on. car can not move and will not rev past 3500 rpm. i already put a new under fuse box. but still happens. any help woul be great thanks.

Maybe you have a bad sensor somewhere. Sounds like your car could be running in safe mode. What year is the engine??

Found this after some reasearch.

Sounds like you are having a similar problem. Maybe this will fix you up. Moisture and vibration have these effects on harnesses.

ok i think i found the problem. i checked every thing. and found the pcm that i have is worng. it was a pm6 for an civic si. i used the pr4 from a integra. thing every thing else works fine. thanks for all yur help.
