so i just bought a 99' civic si after totaling my celica last month and deciding to switch teams in the import world..i am completely new to the civics and what kinda after-market support there is available and the brands and what not. I just bought the car on thursday and the clutch is slipping horribly so im thinking i should probably replace it asap..my question is what is available in terms of aftermarket clutches like a stage 2 clutch and if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations of specific companies, thanks
ryan
yea that stage 3 clutch i waaaaay too expensive, after i pay someone to install it im looking at a thousand bucks..i need something that i can be finished for about 500, i was looking on ebay and saw an exedy clutch kit for like $167 shipped, is that a descent price??or would i be better off upgrading to a stage 2 kit?? i appoligize for the newbie questions but like i said ive been toyota for about the past 5 years so all of this is foreign to me..and for those of you who can help out, THANKS!!

hmmm. i asked you why you were using your ACT clutch- instead of the clutchmasters, and you told me it wasnt even yours and that you were selling it for your friend, well ya got me, i wanna hear this one (if you guys had some kind of problem with the CM and thats the real reason, I'd really like to hear about it instead of getting the :bs: :
He told me to just sell it keep the money use it for disneyland and when I get back to work since I am taking 16 units and school is over in april so I will be back to work so y dont you just STFU and mind our own business? Dont be getting into peoples business if you dont know whats going on alright.
you just told ME to stfu? : you're getting a little over defensive in response to an honest and reasonable question, dont start your shit with me because you may have just got caught in a lie and now feel stupid. btw, watch your mouth :laff:
I didnt mean to flame its just I dont like people getting into my business if you dont think I am a good guy just talk to bryanmoe he will tell you I am a straight up guy no BS and you know bryanmoe honest.
like i said, i was just asking an honest question, its not getting into your business- you contradicted yourself in two different posts regarding whos clutch it was and it simply made me raise an eyebrow and ask- its not like i PM'd the kid and told him not to buy the clutch, peace.
