i wonder how much more power this newer "version" will give out on our cars??? if it gives it a significant difference in power, then hmm. but for now, i like the current one. i think this new one looks pretty funny with that swell in the middle. eh, oh well. whatever

peace

it sorta is. just go to the air induction systems/air bypass valves page, then to applications. you'll see a column that says v2.

yeah this new V2 intake is for real. the part number for the 99-00 Si is 24-6017. it's under the applications chart. i didn't see a part number for the RSX-S though. sound intesting. i also didn't see a picture. i wonder how much they're gonna sell this for... eh, whatever

peace

I second that, Personally, I think it's just a marketing thing by changing the style. Style changes with time and people try to change it to stay on top of their game! There is only one way to tell, and that's by doing a Dyno on the two!!!!

Peace

yeah i agree 00blacksi.. i've taken enough marketing classes in school to notice a brand differentiation marketing strategy when i c one.... but i'm sure someone will end up buying this one n doing some testing, but i dont think it will really be all that much power to sell mine n replace it...
