New ECU

I was looking on the internet tonight and saw a 2001 US Integra Type R B18C5 P73 OBDIIb ECU. I was wondering if this would work on my 1999 Honda Civic Si. I was also wondering what the performance increase would be.

You would lose power. That ECU is tuned for the B18C5, the fuel maps are different and the redline is 8600 rpm. If your engine even did run with that ECU, it would run extremely rich and possible damage due to the higher redline.

The ecu will not run, you will need to remove the immobilizer and switch some pins. I think its A15 and A16 on your wireharness.
