I was looking on the internet tonight and saw a 2001 US Integra Type R B18C5 P73 OBDIIb ECU. I was wondering if this would work on my 1999 Honda Civic Si. I was also wondering what the performance increase would be.
You would lose power. That ECU is tuned for the B18C5, the fuel maps are different and the redline is 8600 rpm. If your engine even did run with that ECU, it would run extremely rich and possible damage due to the higher redline.

well....mine works im using mine on a 99 si motor...did it with my swap..i just shift at 8k to keep from over reving until i get my head work done....and im not throwing any codes....ive been running it for 3 months

no codes....and i ahve the ctr cams...just not in yet, im also doing a p&p,3 angle valve job,spring, retainers,valves....and doing ctr pistons, and a set of eagle rods...and i got it becuase to do the swap to a 98, i needed a 250$ adapter..and i got the itr ecu whichj plugs right in for 200....so, thats why i did that
