New member, first post

Just wanted to say "hi". I'm back to high revving engines after being married to a really ugly Volvo that sucked my soul and wallet. Used to own first and third generation Integras. Now I'm back to Honda with the Si sedan.

My mods: booster seats in the back with matching barf bags.

Nice choice of car. I've got a new Si Sedan. Equipped with the Carseat mod.

I thought I'd post something useful for people who can't afford a new car or a new paint job. There is a huge thread from some time ago on a moparts board about hand painting a car with rust paint and a roller. The effects were quite amazing. The story starts with a guy from Canada that painted his charger with Tremclad (in the US it is called Rustoleum). I'm older and more established, so I can afford the new car, but I was young and poor not so long ago, and can appreciate this effort. I read through every single thread, and was amazed. It is actually a lost art.

Anyone interested in painting their civic for $50 should read these posts. Enjoy!

moparts: paint job on a budget!?
