obd2 to obd1 need help
i recently swapped an engine out of a 95 del sol its a japanese b16a2 i got the adapter for the harness at the ecu took the motor tranny and ecu and put them in my 2000 honda civic. i rewired the harness out of the civic to work with the injectors alternator and distributor on the 95 obd1 motor everthing is hooked up but when i started it it would only run on a couple of cylinders and if u give it gas it wants to sputter out and die checked timing it seems to be right but i cant think of n e thing else it could be n e suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanx

You should have transfered all of your wiring as for as ur civic harness to the del sol motor. All you would have to have done was rewires the alternator and dist. harness at that point. and maybe a few connectors here and there. You should have used the 00 civics injectors so u didnt have to rewire the injectors. Im not 100% on this but im purdy certain.

thats all i did was rewire the distributor the alternator and the injectors i was afriad the ex sohc injectors would be insufficent for the b16 and i have no clue why is running the way it is

did you make sure your getting spark out of the other cylinders? maybe its just misfiring because of moisture. there could be bad connections. the injectors may be clogged or not working properly. troubleshoot anything and everything you can think of and see if that works.
