Question oil cone filter before install???

OK GUYS I JUST GOT MY AEM COLD AIR INTAKE ON FRIDAY AND BEFORE I INSTALL IT I WANT TO KNOW IF I SHOULD OIL THE FILTER FIRST?? ALSO WHY IS IT NOT A K&N FILTER AS ADVERTISED MY FILTER SAYS AEM ON IT.

Your Aem oil filter SHOULD be already oiled, Aem recently switched from using K&N filters to using their own filters.

so is their own filter as good as k&n or is there enough difference that i should buy a k&n??

Most filters these days are based on the K&N design anyways. I wouls stick with the one it came with. Don't watse your cash

Nice choice...I guess AEM is making their own brand of filter......but call them to make sure about the "oiling".....I know when I bought my AEM it came with a K7N and was already oiled....ready to install......good luck....
