Omni Power Coilovers for EG
Well my Omnipower Coilovers came today. I got the Sport kit 12kg front and 10kg rear. They all look pretty good except I'm missing 6 of the 8 14mm nuts that bolt the coilovers to the chasis. Also I didn't get any lowering wrenches this I'm pretty damn pissed about. Anyway does anyone have these stiff ass coilovers on their car and drive it got pics etc? I saw the rediculous EK EBP Si on the omni 10kg 8kg streets, fuckin dumped I can't go that low. Anyone else have missing shit from Omni?

Still no word. Anyone have 12kg front and 10kg rear springs with similar setup as far as being coilovers not necessarily omni's.

my brother has tein ha's on his crx. 12k in the front and 10k in the rear. best handling car ever!! thing rides like it's on rails. except watch out for potholes on the highway or backroads, gets very rough, especially with low profile tires. if you got any more questions about them, just ask.
i'd call and bitch if i were you. you ordered from because you thought they were a good company, so you deserve your satisfaction.
do a write up for us when you install them. i'm going to buy these this summer and it doesn't hurt to get some opinions from other people.
Good luck!

They're sending me my wrenches and stuff. I broke LCA bolt where the rear strut mounts today at school and had to drive the car home that way...I'll try and get this shit done over the weekend and snap a roll of film of it

Too late I've dropped so many cars it should be common knowledge to so many people. Plus I lack a digi cam. I could write a tutorial though its easy. Shit got done in a few hours, I'm dead tired and sore as hell tomorrow I'm going to attempt to set the camber plates and get one more side even with the other. Other than that I havn't driven it yet but I can't reccomend the 12kg front and 10kg rear for a daily driver. I'm a fat ass like 220lbs and I sat on the front fender and it didn't even budge...that shit is MEGA stiff. Rears low and set good though 1 finger gap in the rear, 2finger gap on the passengers front side, and 1 finger gap on the front drivers side, going to raise the front drivers side slightly tomorrow and try and dial the camber in. But I'll do a writeup on how to install and how they ride etc.

it's good to hear that they're very stiff. some people on honda tech said that they were under dampened, but i didn't believe them.

They probably got the 10 and 8kg street kit and didn't adjust the spring preload appropriately or they slammed it to the ground

Omni upper A-arms, i just put some washers in the rear. I preloaded the springs and all that shit, 2 finger gap up front 1 finger gap in the rear, ride is pretty good actually and I havn't adjusted camber or anything at all. When I get around to an alignment rack I'll take care of it. However when putting on the rear struts it is IMPERATIVE that you put an impact on the NUT SIDE of the rear LCA's and break that nut off becasuse its welded to the strut. Then have fun getting the damn bolt out of the bushing because its probably seized. I had to pay $250 for 2 new LCA bolts and labor and a new bushing for one side because I didn't feel like fuckin with it.

I just put the Omni Power Sport Coilovers 2nites ago in my EG. All I have to say is that this setup is hella stiff!!. I'm used to riding on my H&R Sport springs/ KYB GR-2 setup on my integra. It's like night and day riding on the Omni then on my H&R's.

Yeah but I'm lazy and I didn't want to risk drilling them out due to the fact that they're GRADE 10 BOLTS which are a bitch and if you fuck up the bushing you have to either buy aftermarket LCA's or you have to buy a whole new OEM control arm because you can't buy just the bushings from what I heard.
