Ordered tires today...

i got the nitto nt 555r drag radials size 205 45VR-15 and there gonna go on my stock Si wheels. Anybody have experience with these? I had my mind set on the nt450's 205-50-15, but right before i ordered i looked to see if they had any 45 series that would fit and it was the only ones they had. 76 dollars apiece vs. 67 for the 450's plus free shipping and no tax. I got the stock michelins on there now and everyone knows they suck. Do you guys think i'll be sitting noticeable lower now? There wider and lower profile so i damn sure better be sticking to the road better. Somebody give me some feedback here I cant wait to get these things on.

ok i should have researched these 555r's a little bit before i ordered them. I didnt realize they are only rated for 10,000 mile treadware. Im gonna have to call discount tire in the morning and change the order back to the nt450's before they send me the 555's.

Your getting these for daily driving? If so, i hope not. They won't last 10K daily driving, when u beat on them. If i had those, they would be strictly for weekend warrior times. Daily driving, those things are gonna suck. In the rain, i would imagine pretty bad as well. On the track, real nice though. Good luck

jdmsijdm: Dude! I can't get a PM to you, email me pupascoopa@charter.net

You should have talked to me before making the order since I know a guy in Black Mountain that could get you a deal. Maybe next time...

If you get 'em by the end of the week, check out the autocross at the Biltmore Square mall on Sunday!
