Is it possible

I currently have a 1997 civic EX 2 door 5 speed, with a blown motor. and its black. Did they have FBP (color) in 1997? in any case heres my question

Is it possible to make a 2 dr 1997 civic EX look exactly like a 99-00 SI (exterior)? I already have the RIMS. I know about the front end and rear bumper. Is the side skirts different? Or is there something about the 97 civic that couldnt ever be changed to the 99-00 SI look???

p.s, I have a whole year to fuck around with it. and Im dropping a H22a in there.

THANKS

Well if you really want to, I guess you can...

I would save the money, and make it fast instead. If you want an Si, just buy one

However, back to your question...

You would need a 99-00 front/rear bumber, side skirts, half red/clear tails, 99-00 head lights, painted door molding, rear disc conversion, and...Ummm I think thats it.

Did I forget anything????

Here is what you need to convert the front end:
Bumper
Bumper grill
Fenders
Headlights
Hood
Radiator Support

Yes, the side skirts on the Si were painted and they flair out by the back tire. They were an option (OEM body kit) on normal Civics. Here is a pic http://www.handa-accessories.com/civic/civss.jpg
