Post puff of smoke from muffler.

i was racing my friend about two days ago and he told me that a puff of blue or black smoke came out of my muffler everytime i shifted to a higher gear. i was wondering if theres a problem inside my engine? what do you guys think the problem is? or is this normal? thanks in advance

I swear ur like the 10th person that I know that has the same thing happened on their Si. I never really looked behind my car so mines probably does it 2. You be surprised at how many Si's has the same problem as urs.

Fuel..........

If your puffing only at high rpms, it's because your fuel is loading up and the unburnt fuel is spent out the exhaust.

If your car is continously smoking it could be numerous things.

yea, if its continuously smoking like mine was, it could be oil burning, but in ur case its prob the fuel thing.

so its ok to keep on running with the fuel thing or do i have to fix it? change any part? cuz i dont want this to lead to any bigger problems.

Yep get that shit looked at. Your plugs could easily get fouled out. Go get your fuel pressure checked out... Assuming you only added basic bolt ons you should only have raised fuel pressure 2-5 psi over stock.
