tech wrench Replace my control arm bushings....

I did some searching and read a whole bunch of reviews, but I could not find any how-to's for installing Energy Suspension bushings. I did a complete install on my '90 'Yota 4x4 (upper/lower control arms) and that was a complete pain in the ass (burn, cut, grind). So I was wondering if anyone has installed this kit. Is this something I could do in a day or two? How much is involved. I have 61,000 miles on my '00 Si (Florida car and a daily driver) so rust is not a factor.

Any insights are welcome.

Thanks

hmmm i know civicsiracer had his done but i think he paid to have his done. I personally have never tried to do it but Id assume its like any other job under the car. See if brett can scan the helms for those sections.

I have a Helms, I was asking if anyone has installed their own, because I am very limited with the amount of time I can spend doing this project. Like can I install the front upper and lower control arm bushings in a day? I called energy suspension this afternoon and spoke to a tech, but something made me feel there was something he wasn't telling me. When I did the 'Yota I had to reuse all of the stock steel. i don't want to go through that again.

this may not be much help but i had to replace my lower control busing on the front passenger side. I replaced it with a OEM one though. This sucked and i hope i dont have to do it again. I had to press the old bushing out and press the new one in. Sounds easy but it didnt go so well for me. As in press i mean press in with e hydraulic press not with your hands.

i installed energy suspension bushings on my civic. well not all by my self but here's what i did. i removed all the control arms from the car and took them to a shop where i gave them $50 to take out all the bushings. they had to cut/burn/press etc.
then i got the arms back and put in the energy suspension bushings by hand (they went in nice and easy) till i got to the front lower control arms. couldnt do those by my self so i went back to the shop. give the guy $25 to put those in for me. 1 hour later he come out the shop...shoved the arms at me and told me he dont want to see me ever again ahaha...he said those two bushings were a bitch to put in even with a press. went home and put everything in. if i were to take the whole car to a shop to have them do that it would of been mad $$$$$. the cheapest quote i got was $325. it only cost me $75 and a saturday.

I was afraid it was going to be a bitch to do. I hate the nice picture they show you with the steel included. The bushings for my gitter done 'YOTA took me 6 months to do and a shit load of drillbits and grinding stones. Well I think i might only get the easy ones to install for now(sway bar and such). Well thanks guys I was hoping there was an easy way to do this.
