it could be your wheel bearing but also make sure the tire is not rubbing (check for rubbing/cut marks on the tire) and also check the lip on the quarter panel to see if its scraped up. those tires seem a lil wide....i thought 205/45-16 is supposed to be the right size.

hmmmm....

I recently had a problem with excessive tire noise coming from the rear tires. It sounded like a cement truck was trailing me everywhere I went. Turned out the tires were "cupped" and that they were responsible for the noise. Since I needed to change the front tires, I changed the rear tires also. The noise went away. As to what caused the cupping, I hadn't rotated the tired regularly because I had been constantly changing wheels on my car. Check the tire for signs of irregular tire wear. If the tires appears to be wearing in "patches," the tire is probably "cupped." Could be the result of worn or loose suspension parts, a bad shock, or a loose wheel bearing. Hope this helps.
