hi, i was wondering if a s-afc would be of much use in my car, i have a si-r ek4 b16a with 2.25inch madrel bent piping, highflow cat, 5zigen fireball, and apexi pod filter, cold air induction pipe. will the afc do much difference??
and if i have a vtec controller can i plug in both the afc and the vtec controlller?
with the set up you have, the V-AFC nor the S-AFC will not work wonders to your car. however, if you do feel youre going to get more indepth with modifying your vehicle such as new cams, cam gears, and more internal stuff, as well as taking it to the dyno and getting your car tuned, then yes those V-AFC/S-AFC 'thing o majobs' will show you gains upwards to 10-15 hp

yeah i know you have to get it tuned.........but i just want to know if it will do anything.....
i mean i'm from australia, and it seems from what i have seen that in the us, not many people dyno their cars, and you guys like to buy bolt-on parts and like to use pre-programmed or programable piggy backs.... apparently the development of programable ecu';s and tuning is well ahead of the us....but you guys have good parts like comptec and dc sports.
the other thing that pisses me off is b16a, or other dohc vtecs have so much potential, but extracting power from them is hell expensive...
