safe turbo

hey i was thinking about puting a turbo on this summer and i was wondering what steps i should take to make safe boost so i wont mess anything up. like should i just put a thiker head gasket on to lower compression or should i put new low compression pistons and everything on or what.

Most hondas will stand for 6-8 psi of boost on stock internals. If you're going to run higher boost you'll need new pistons and engine mgt.
A gasket is a cheesy patch fix to lower compression - do it right with internals.

i was thinking about getting a greddy kit for a civic ex cuz ive already got turbo headers for my car that i can use and the ex kit is cheaper but the thing that really scares me is running boost with high compression im afraid that it will make my engine not last as long
