I am really concerned about get my car stolen. I have a lot of ideas done, and waiting to be done to my car. But I would like to ask for help on secure my car. Any suggestions?

lojack. if someone wants it bad enough, they will get it. there is no 100% sure-fire way to keep your car from getting stolen. make sure you are covered for theft with your insurance.

lojack is chill, maybe one of those clutch things from the TV...? But all the cars that i know of that had lojack, got stripped to the shell by the time it was found.. fucking sucks yo.

well im putting a quick release steering wheel in there, alarm, lojak, and my own gps. And im tryin to figure out a way to locc the hood and wheels, so they wont be able to move the car.

I have the same car as you. I am thinking about getting the viper 5550. It has remote start and also has a starter kill.
It also pages you to your pager, when someone is touching your car (excalty what side). It will be around $500 installed
but worth it.

Also get a pedal lock and put it around the clutch. Steering wheel locks are a waste as you can cut the wheel fairly quickly.

so it wouldn't help.

ive also got a 2000 si i got the compustar alarm thing is great ut i wanted to do a few more things it has a kill swithch but i want suttin more

I am in the same boat. I need something that will protect my car... By the way, are there any lugnuts that have locks or something like that to keep your wheels from getting jacked? I like the killswitch idea for the car... let me know

Hey man, i kno how ya feel. i just got an alarm system for my rsx kuz my si was stolen. I have a Prestige APS25CH. It has a standard siren alarm that is tripped when the car is unlocked while armed. It has sensors for the trunk and hood, a shock sensor that sets off the alarm if the car is hit (mainly to set off alarm if window it hit), and a starter disabler. Only set me back $200 after install. Its been working well for me so far.

Seriously, up here ppl leave cars sitting around un-attended with keys in the ignition all the fucking time. If someone wanted to be a car theif, the northern mid-west is the place to do it.

Come one man, I dont live in the ghetto Im just worried all the time about my nice stuff. It dont matter where you live, if someone wants you ride, they'll get it.
