i have an 86 civic si fi that wont start. fuel filters clean, fuel in fuel rail, got spark, got air. car will turn over, but wont stay running if it even starts at all. absolutly no power. feels like its misfiring something serious. dont know what else to do.
the fuel pump works forsure, but i havent checked the distributer itself yet. but its got a strong spark on all 4 plugs. im gonna check the timing though, cuz it doesnt sound the same when im turning it over.

My vote is the timing....or heres a realy really random shot in the dark, Clogged cat. A car that age could have a catalytic converter that is clogged....and not allowing the engine to breathe....just a shot in the dark...
