ya thats what i thought...getting the correct combo is better than piecing them together. it's how they were designed. but koni sports are nice...

Koni yellows with GC's are often a good combo. H&R sports with AGX's are good as well. However finding a correct match, or, tuning the struts to best suit the springs is critical with a "mismatch" spring/strut combo. Buying a coilover system is always going to guarantee that the spring and strut are properly matched.

excellent choice, I love that combo. How do you have yours set up? Mine are on the normal ride perch with 1/2 turns all around. I haven't experimented too much with the knob.

so we have them about the same. what do you have other than that for suspension (sway bars, etc.)? I have the comptech rear sway bar/brace and ES bushing/endlinks on the front oem bar.

front upper strut bar, and a si rear sway bar with es bushings(complements of Kommonsense). i have a dx so i either i need to drill holes for the front sway or buy one that is for non sway bar equipped civics.

but right now it handles so much better than just the springs i had before. i'm happy the way it is, for now. there is a raod course that is supposedly opening up later this year or early next. and i want to get into autox around here. i know of one place they do it but havn't seen the schedule for this year yet.

My suspension isnt fully utilized because I'm still using the stock wheels and tires from when I bought the car. I slide quite a bit in hard turns and I've actually drifted all four of my wheels once. Once I get some 15's with performance tires it'll be even better.

i bet that was a fun drive. i have 15x7 inch rims with 195/50's the tire are better than radials, but i don't know how much of a performance tire it is. i should have got 205/50's but i was in a rush and just got them instead. i only slid once, going about 50mph on a ramp that someone cut me off, so jerked the wheel and the tires broke loose.

PM me if you want to talk more so we can keep this thread what its supposed to be
