If you are, then no.
If you want whistling, kind of like a flute sound, every short-ram intake I've ever had whistled at certain RPMs.
I know you instructed us not to flame. But why do you want the sound of a blow-off valve if you don't have turbo? So you can pretend that you do?

no, it just sounds cool.

I had a throttle body spacer for awhile that whistled. I actually took it off and sold it because of that. Then some guy bought it off me on ebay for the sound it made . As for the blow off valve sound, I don't know how well an electronic device could replicate that sound.

1994 honda civic swap
what do u guys here think should i try and do a k20 swap, or do a b18 swap, i have a 1994 honda civic coupe. I know a guy who has a k20 in his car right know, it is a show car and he almost never gets on it. He is willing to sell the whole swap for 1200 bucks. But the same dude has a b18c1 in his garage sitting.for 1000 bucks. Since the k20's technology is advanceing and I could easily get 200hp without a turbo, i am leaning towards the k20. I have been reading up on the net and i have heard some good things and some bad things about this swap, if anyone could help me out here it be great. Also if anyone has any info on the k20 swap into an eg chassis it would be great to.

damn a k20 swap for only $1200? is there anything wrong with it? what type of k20 is it? for $200 more I would probably get the k20 over the b18c1 unless its a k20a3.

k20 swap
I am not 100% sure that it is not a k20a3 but if it is, it's not worth 1200 down the line, is that what your saying. I have not heard of many people building up the k20a3, so i am dumb founded on what power i can make. I am hoping it is a k20a2 but we all can wish.

if ur saying that it must be jacked up to be going for that much... ur wrong lol... it really depends on the seller. down where i live is a salvage yard, about 50 miles from me. well, i searched their site, and i saw the k20a2, full swap for 1500. Called him up to ask if there was anything wrong with it, and he told me that the engine was in good condition, nothing wrong with it, BUT he already sold it... so someone around my area is one lucky mofo.

i had them on my 98 for a while. they looked just ok. but i don't have the taste for them anymore. if they lined up with the hood line and were actually connected to the hood then i'd reconsider.
