nice build. i'm currently thinking about selling my hatch aswell.
i'd hate see it go but i want an s2000 aswell. it's a shame you never get what you put into a car. i'd say you're looking at $5,000-5,500 tops for your ride.

shitty i know.

If the car itself is not mint, don't expect to get alot of money for it. appearence is what sells the car, not the money invested into the engine. Aim for $6k and work around that figure.

what are you looking to get out of it? you might get at most 7500...and I know I'm pushing that estimate! but you could possiblly find someone who'd pay that much...too bad you don't live in Alaska. there was an '03 s2k in the paper going for like 8g's...it had some frontend damage though...but I'm sure it wouldn't be TOO much of a problem to fix...hell, the profit you could make off that car if you sold it after restoring the body would be pretty nice :clap but you said you wanted an 06 model. I'd say keep your eg if you REALLY love it, and just work your ass off to save up enough for a nice down payment. Don't put yourself in a bad situation by jumping into DEBT...I currently own an 02 eclipse gt...it's nice and all, but I still owe 15g's on it...I HATE that! I'm trying to get rid of it so I can put myself back into a honda, and not be in DEBT!

you might get more by parting it out, or selling a complete swap. id say keep it, just because i went through 3 cars and a shitload of added debt before i came back to a cheap honda. i see too many people buy a nice new car, dump alot of money into it and try and sell it later because they cant afford it. that wont happen with your hatch. but the main ones i see for sale with crazy amounts of loot into them are evo's, sti's and s2000's. people either cant afford to keep them because of the debt they stacked up, or are trying to get a house and will loose about 10k selling it. they all are trying to go back to a cheap hatch and low car payment. just my $.02. good luck on your decision.

just spend the extra money on a really nice paint job and cosmetics. maybe redo interior. youll be happier in the long run not owing lots of money. dont put yourself in a position where yo try and get a house and dont get approved for dick. i went from owing $3k to $60k, having a baby, and then back down to $35k. trust me it sucks.

I test drove one the other day and I loved it. I owe 13,900 on my 05 toyota Tacoma which I haven't even had a year, not to mention I'm in debt about $8000 in tools and my tool box...but If I can get near pay offa nd get enough money for the downpayment on the 3yr lease with the opportunity to buy for 19,000 after the 3 yr lease is up I might just do it, going to penske honda tomorrow to get trade in value on my truck since my own employer tried to ream me in the ass on it. 05 Tacoma short bed 2wd 5 speed with 13,000 miles on it in mint condition body and mechanically wise...They tried to give me 11,000...worst comes to worst I'll keep the truck even though I don't want it.

I have been thinging of doing the same thing. Going from a EG to a AP1. But, i havn't been able to sell my EG still, since everyone wants either a 240sx or a WRX now in days.

But, when i do sell my civic, and my truck, i'll probly get a s2000 myself.
