I've owned my 99 civic for quite a few years now and I love it. but If I had the option to buy a scoobie, watch how fast I put up the for sale sign in my civic. if you want to talk about money pits don't I've owned 7 of them now. what another one gonna hurt? shit I'm still dumping money into my civic. but thats the price we pay as enthusiasts, I expect to pay. I'm on my 4th motor go figure.

I hate dbw they purposely put a delay in the throttle response. and I hate that shit. my VW passat has it and whenever I need to take off pulling out from a store i second guess myself b/c of the delay. I have to press the gas while a car is still driving by to make sure it actually moves when its gone and I don't get hit by the next one. give me a good ol cable any day
