I seriously doubt that for that price. If that is the case of 40K 99 SI, then I could get $18K for my car considering I have a 2000 with only 22K. The blue book on my car is 14K - 16K. Just look around and get prices. Look into the local newspaper as well. Don't want to get jipped. Just my $0.02. Good luck.

Do not pay more than 14k for that car. Work the dealer down to about 13k. Good luck!

I know the dealers in my area have it at sticker but only a person w/ money to burn would pay that.

Check out eBay Motors or Classifieds 2000 there are always lots of 1999 & 2000 Si for sale and at a much better price than a dealer.

Our 1999-2000 Sis hold their value really well. I wouldn't go to a dealer because they will ass rape you without KY jelly. Look privately for a very clean Si that hasn't been beaten on, raced, modded, etc. Just for info, my friend who's a COP got his EBP 1999 Si stolen a month ago. It was bone stock and had about 30k miles. His insurance gave him $16K!! That tells me that the Si really holds it's value. Unfortunately, they get stolen a lot too. Good luck.
