dunno about 92, but on my 00, you gotta take out rear seat, that allows you to remove side panels which are covering the rear deck. then the deck can pop off.... most cars are like this so it should be similiar...

now reinstalling the deck is hard as hell...

when i had my '92 si ...

all you gotta do is look at the side panel and it will look like its divided into 2 parts ... the middle (the part with the speaker grille) and the surrounding piece , all you need to do is get a Flat-head screwdriver , wedge it in there and pop it out ... pretty easy, they will pop right back in once you pop them out.

atleast thats how i got mine off... i cant remmeber what size speaker goes in there tho... 5 1/2 or 5 1/3 or something around there... its should be easy

p.s.
you need to fold down the back seats to get the panel off
