The H22A Prelude responds slightly better to mods than the B16A Si does, though neither engine really makes any significant gains. If you're really intent on making serious power on a limited budget, you might as well do a turbo setup.

However you haven't given us nearly enough information to make recommendations. The turbo setup that is right for you will depend on what the car will be used for, how much you are willing to spend, and whether or not you intend to build the engine.

Depends on what you consider "good" With I/H/E I feel a noticable difference in my car. I mean its not a turbo by any means, but it did do something.

If you plan to turbo it don't buy an intake or header...A clutch would be a great choice while you save.

The greddy, and drag kits are both good kits...You can usually get the whole kit with IC for ~3,000.

As long as you stay at 6-8PSI you should be ok with the stock internals....

If you are going turbo I would recommend the Rev Hard kit. Specifically the Stage 2C. Lot of room to grow with that T3/T04E setup. You can find some pretty good deals on it if you look around. Definately upgrade your clutch when going turbo (or any F.I. application for that matter) as v00tecsi recommended. I have two friends with forced induction Hondas (one had a JRSC 97 Prelude and the other still drives a JRSC 2000 ITR) and both wound up upgrading their clutches after a few months because of slippage. Its best to avoid the hassle and do it from the start. Also look into some sort of engine management system (i.e. Hondata, AEM) down the road too if you really want to get the most from you car. If you are looking at other types mods to get the most out of your car with not that big of a dent in your bank account look into things like intake manifolds, bored throttle bodies, cam gears, etc. A few little things here and there plus tuning can give you some respectable gains. Good luck.
