Skunk2 mega power exhaust installed!!!!

I just installed the new Skunk2 exhaust on my 00 SI. This freakin thing is amazing!!! its deep as hell!! no riceboy tinny, pep boys sounding exhaust. my 1st impressions were that it seemed to lose a little low end torque but definately started to make itself noticed at about 3500 rpm on. the performance gain was noticeable according to my butt dyno and also to my homeboy riding shotgun saying "dayyum!!"(damn) it came with a silencer...so i'm gonna put it in and see if i lose or gain performance and also see how well the silencer quiets this beast. overall i am happy with this exahust and would definately suggest to anyone looking to add an exhaust to their car although it maybe a little loud to some

congrats on that. I just got a Magnaflow cat back system last week. I didn't notice any power loss in the low end. It sounds fuckin awsome in the low end also, really deep, but as it revs higher it rasps. 325 installed, and the pipes were custom so it was good deal. gonna get pics soon as my damn camera is shipped.

I am seriously considering one, but I'm afraid its going to be too loud????

Have you ever heard the Apexi N1??? If so how does it compare to it? (I think the N1 is way too loud)

Thanks and congrats.

without the silencer the skunk2 exhaust is loud, but then again so is my thermal r&d. i don't mind a loud exhaust as long as it doesn't sound like a weed wacker.

Thanks johnny..well to answer your question partly i installed the silencer that came with exhaust today( due to my girlfriend's bitchin!) and it lower the sound, not dramatically but it was definately quieter during downshifts...over all it's not a loud exhaust, but it has a deep resonance. however, you can easily control the exhaust's rumble by adjusting the throttle; if you floor it be prepared to hear it's deepness, part throttle gives a lil noise but if your just cruising it sounds almost stock. this exhaust does not buzz what at all...what u hear at low rpm you hear at high rpm...at least in the cabin...performance wise the rpm's race to redline once you reach 5500 rpm and i felt a midrange to top end difference with the silencer out...this exhaust is awsome so don't over look it!
