maacb16 is on a distinguished road
smoking at high rpm

hey guys i noticed today that when my vtec engages evrything is awesome but alot of smoke comes out of my exhaust when i get to the 7K and higher i know my ecu is chipped and its made vtec kick in at 5100 and redline at 1 something i dont have a cat why is that happening

Sounds like Symptoms of a Generic chipped ecu. Those generic chips are all programmed to run rich @ higher rpms to prevent the motor from leaning out. Nothing beats a stock ecu on a stock motor. Keep it stock, unless you plan on getting some A/F correction.

dont cheap out on a chip, get it tuned by someone right or get a setup you can tune urself liek zdyne or hondata.

ok, do a leak down test

if you hear air coming through the valve cover, you have bad rings/valve seals
if you hear air out the intake, bad intake valves
air out the exhaust, exhaust valves
bubbling coolant, headgasket
