SSR Competition Wheels
Ive been looking into getting some new wheels for a while now and have decided on getting some 17x7.5 competitions. They are really light and look badass. Does anyone know anything about them?
P.S. Im gonna be selling the integra gsr wheels that are on my car now if anyone's interested.

I looked into 16's for my FBP Si. The Tire Rack wanted 315 each plus the cost of tires.
: I think they would look sweet on my car.

SSR Competitions are prolly one of the best wheels to buy that are forged and lightweight. They are on my wishlist
I know several people who use them for autocross.
Other lightweight wheels: Racing Hart CP-035s, Volk TE-37s

SSR rims are badass. I love the Competitions, but for some reason never bought them. I have 2 sets of SSR's and I love the quality and look. I got 15" Type M's and 17" GP-O's. I was gonna get the gunmetal Type C's but here in Hawaii, kinda plenty people run them. Trying to get my hands on some Type X's. But ya, go for the SSR's, you wont' be disappointed. As for the price on tirerack, I heard that is a good price, but I dunno, just like buying anything else, shop around for the best deal. Good luck.

I wouldn't say, they are ultra light
Kosei K-1 Racing rims are awesome as well. They are about 13lbs for a set of 15's and just alittle bit heavier for the 16's. They have been proven to be one of the best rims out there, considering the material/process of making is not even forged. IT"S STRONG and appropriate for Auto X!
I'd like any of the mentioned rims too!
Good luck..

Not really ulralight. My 15x7" weighs about 12-13lbs. And my 16x7.5" weigh about 15lbs. Not bad for a wheel that cost me $130-150.
There are other rims that weigh the same and cost about the same.
But if you want light you have to go with forged wheels.

Make sure you buy the right offset. 17x7.5" will scrape the outer or inner fenderwells with the sligtest offset change.
I had 17x7.5" with 42mm, 43mm, and 44mm offsets and they all rubbed.

What off-sets are available? The closer to 42 you get the better. I ran 17" K-1's with a 45 off-set and never had any problems with them rubbing.
