suggestions welcome

I've been saving for a while now and am wanting to buy a different motor for my civic. It's a '91 Si. I'm still fairly new to Hondas but I still want to tweak mine to the point that it's a real thrill to drive. I've been looking at a few different swaps and I've narrowed it down to either a b18c or a k20a. What I'm not sure of is what sort of modification would be necessary, if any, to make either motor work in my car. I realize it's an older car and have considered the possibility that newer/bigger motors than stock may not work in it. I've got a fairly large budget but I want to keep the physical modifying of the engine bay to a minimum, with the exception of motor mounts, etc. Any words of wisdom/recommendations on trustworthy dealers? Preferably from someone who has experience with '88 - '91 civics. I love the way these EF civics look and handle but am displeased with the stock d16 motor. I'm not looking to hot rod this thing, I just have a deep admiration for the Japanese versions of these cars and would like mine to be of similar specifications, including cosmetically. I would do a b16a swap, but I want something with more torque. Thanks in advance for any help.
