Techometer for B16A2

Hi guys im new to this im doing research for a 92 civic hatchback SI (that im getting next summer) and im stuck on a little part... okay i am thinking of a new engine for the SI but im not sure of things like the techometer....
1) the EG revs up to 8K right? but the site said the B16A2 redline is 8.2K heres the things that im confuels do i have to change the techometer for the engine like do i have to get one that rev up to 9 or 10K?
2)if i do change the techometer do i have to go through all these things like the ECU that fits right for it?(sorry i don't know how to explain)

Steve

Don't sweat it - when you swap out for a new motor, you don't have to get a different tach. The one you have in there will work just the same, the needle will just go past the 8k mark, no damage done. I don't think that you can find a cluster with a higher rpm factory tach for your car. If you want you can always go and buy a monster tach from Auto Zone, but I wouldn't do that. Keep the factory one in, looks better and much cleaner.

P.S. Welcome to SHO my man, let any of us know if you have any more ?'s.
