Tenzo R Type R Evolution Seats

Does any one have these? Or any Tenzo R seats in their Si? I got in a little accident (well, ok, i should post that pic when i get it scanned) and kinda messed up the drivers seat and on GBC they have a pair of new Tenzo R Type R Evolutions that look pretty tight in black (with that almost factory, but better pattern) for 540 shipped. But when i went to the shop by me (which, admittedly is pretty lame) the guy told me they were really narrow, and not that comfortable. Now with the big piece of metal or whatever digging into my back, anything would be better, but I don't want to spend that on some seats that feel like ass. (well, heh, not ass. i could feel ass all day :)

Anyway, are they narrow and uncomfortable, or is this guy just trying to sell me some crap? (I mean, 85% of his products are Arospeed, so that should tell me something)

Thanks.

they aren't that bad. i've sat in them, and we have them in our showroom. they fit well, however, the side bolsters on the bottom are hard, so be careful getting in. once you're there, they aren't bad. the seat back is kinda flat and wide for what the bottom is like, but i'm a skinny guy

Thanks,

Do you think the price difference between these and the Sparco Milanos are worth it? I mean, granted, Sparcos are excellent seats, but for 600$ a seat for Milanos (on a good day) or 540$ for both of the Tenzo's? I know in a way that is a money/personal judgement call, but I'd hate to wait so much longer for Milanos just to find out the extra 800$ was better spend on.. well, just about anything.

The other thing.. I saw a thread here earlier about the seats being lower, you have any idea about that? I'm 6'0", 215 and I have to kick those Si seats way back. How does a lower seat and sliders position you differently in the Si.

don't know that the height of the seat will affect how far back you sit...

i recommend finding a pair of the seats you are looking at before you buy em...

you may also want to check out www.corbeau.com. all of their seats are about 320. and they're nice i have a set in my truck, and my friend has em in his mustang. he's got the targa rs seats. for 320 a piece, not bad. and i know they're better than the tenzo seats.
