Unhappy TestPipe + OBD2...

i have a 00' civic EX...i'm getting rid of my N1, and soon i will put on a stock GSR exhaust with a test pipe. With no cat my car will throw a check light because of the O2 sensor...and i wanted to know if my car will run sluggish because of the check light.. If my car runs normal except the check light being on i can deal with that. But if it runs bad cause of the check i will try to make an O2 sensor simulator...

Help please. Thanks!!

so long as the primary o2 sensor isn't tampered with, the engine will run fine. The secondary o2 sensor doesn't trip the limp mode, but fucking with the primary one will. Fortunately the cat on the '00 civics only houses the seocndary o2 sensor.

on the 2002 civic si's the cat houses both the primary & secondary. d'oh.

chunky is correct. The secondary O2 sensor just measures cat efficiency, it has nothing to do with the running of the engine.

Just get a P28 ECU (92-95 EX/Si) and get rid of that second Oxygen Sensor then you will have nothing to worry about...
