Post Thrust release bearing (ACT Clutch)

Hi guys,
I need to get a new thrust release bearing for my 1995 civic. It has an uprated ACT XT/SS clutch. Is this bearing the same as the stock honda part.

Thanks very much
Steve

I would imagine if the clutch kit was made for your tranny then all of the parts would fit. I could be reading the post wrong.

The one that came with the kit will fit fine! No! one is Honda and the other is ACT so it's not the same, becouse it's made by two diffrent company! Afew people go out and, buy the oem ones even though they alrady have one. I myself just used the one that was alredy provided! It's only $30 for an OEM one if you wanna use OEM.

the clutch has been in the car for about 2 years and the thrust bearing is squeeking badly now so i need to replace it. I live in the UK so dont want to have to order from the US just for an original ACT bearing. So the Stock honda one will fit fine?!??...

Thanks for the replies guys

Wow you have to redo the Trans just to get to the TOB. An OEM will be fine some say it works better!

How can you tell it's the TOB? When mines went out, I just couldn’t get a grip when releasing the clutch. Car would move, but was hard on the Trans.

You are sure that it's the TOB and not your slave or master cylinder?

Good luck!
