Times for a EG Civic SI (D16z6)???

Like it says anyone have times to post. Stripped interior or fully loaded? I'm just trying to see what these things can run and a list of mods.

Thanks,
Vtec Bro #1

I have stock numbers from some website I found a while back:

SOHC D16
1/4 mile: 16.6
0-60: 8.5 sec.

An Si stock is:
1/4 mile: 15.6
0-60: 7.1

Good luck!

Thanks for the times I'm lost if ths si you posted is a EK coupe b16 or a EG hatch si.

Either way I have a gutted 95 DX with d16z6 in it. H/i/e on it skunk2's and 17 205 width tires. I stuck with a car that consistantly runs 15.0's but wandered how I would fair off the line with no torque.

I guess I'll have to get to the strip next week to get some numbers myself

I think the times for the Si is from a stock Si coupe (99 -00). Sorry, not sure of the JDM style designation (EK/EG)?

my car has the same motor and i ran a 15.9 with just a header and axle back. that was with wheelspin into third gear too. that's with full interior, a sunroof, et. i wouldn't be surprised to see you run a 14.7 at around 92mph. did you get the d16z tranny as well??? going to a 15 or 14 inch wheel will help a lot too.

Exactly. And the DX hatch weighs much less than it's Si counterpart. Lack of moonroof, power windows/locks, cruise, etc...really lightens the load.
