turbo or supercharger

what up? i got an 05 si and i'm trying to decide between a supercharger setup or a turbo. i've had turbos before on other cars and i know for the most part what comes along with them but i have never ran a supercharger. i want a clean reliable engine. thanks for your input

depends on what your goals are? for good daily driving and mild power gains, go with the S/C, for top end power and tons of it, go turbo. that and if you're gonna build up your block or not.

Installed, used and maintained properly reliability won't be a factor. Superchargers are great for zipping around town. Turbos are good for just raw power. I personally would go turbo.

Turbo......................... the only bad thing you can say is turbo lag. But just get in the right gear, and don't get a huge turbo you don't need that
