There is no ctr in coupe form...It would be easier to just buy a ctr or itr.

A Type R is a Type R simply because that is how it came from the factory. For a Civic Type R, it came from the factory as a hatch. Therefore, the only way you can ever have a Type R is to either buy one from Japan and have it imported, or else you will have to buy a hatch, and convert EVERYTHING over to the Civic Type R's specs. You can do whatever you want to your coupe, but it will never be a Type R. It may be competitive with one and even out perform it, but it is still not a Type R. Unfortunately this is one of those things in life that is a birthright.
I have thought of doing the same thing in the past as well. I still want to get the CTR headlights, underspoiler, grill, and even rear underspoiler for my coupe, but I know it will not be a CTR. It'll be a pretty sick looking Coupe, but no CTR

You have an Si which is a coupe. The CTR is a hatch, what part are you not understanding? The itr is an integra not a civic, once again your Si is a civic not an integra and a coupe not a hatch. So short of some ctr headlights and stuff like that, your car will remain a coupe and a civic. :eek

You could assemble a CTR INSPIRED coupe if you want, I'm sure it would look badass and you would get lots of respect for it.
But what is being said is true, along the same lines as Michael Jackson looks like a white guy now, acts creepy like a creepy white guy, but is still a black guy. You can change everything you want on the inside or outside but it is what it was when it came out of the factory.
