Upgrading My 2000 SI Clutch

I've been wanting to upgrade the clutch for a while. It's been eight years since I've had anything done with the clutch and am thinking it is about time to do something about it. (Hand-me-down from father, never did shit with it...)

The only engine mod's I have is a K&N Cold Air Intake Typhoon.

So what I'm thinking is an Exedy Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kit. Any opinions on it? I've heard people saying something about a fly wheel as well. Should I install one as well with it, if so which?

Obviously I don't have much experience with clutches so I would love to hear your opinions or even what you all prefer and what worked best.

great clutch for an oem replacement if you're not looking to make a lot of power. my brother had one on his gsr and it felt great.

on the subject of flywheels, it would be a good idea to replace your current one or at least get it resurfaced. you can get a lighter one if you like.

i've got about 70,000 miles on my stg 1 exedy clutch and it still does a great job. i matched it with a fidanza 8lb flywheel and have been really pleased.

GREAT CLUTCH...running run now...on the flywheel i wouldnt go to much lower than 10 lbs on a stock motor most ppl lose torque even thought they rev alot faster

I upgraded my b16a2 to b18c transmission with lsd and ceremic stage 2 exedy clutch with exedy flywheel and I love it. At first, it was stiffer so I peeled out a lot. But after a day I was used to it and i'm about 2k miles on it now. I don't regret it and my friends enjoys it also
