vtec button
does anyone know how to make a vtec button? can u help me by giving me info on how to make one......or post a site that has it on there...thanks....
a vtec light?????? check out jdmfan.com....i did this on my si...i did the SI "glow" trick and used the light right behind it for the vtec light now every time i hit vtec my si lights up (really cool)

maybe he cant afford a VTEC controller, i friend of a friend on mine put one in his CRX. the button was right on top of the shift knob, but dont ask me how he did it, i have no idea.

Exactly. It would be pretty simple to tap into the VTEC solenoid and hook it to a switch, but the problem lies in the ECU. Since the ECU controls fuel and ignition timing, engaging the secondary cam lobes at other than the predetermined setpoint could lead to problems.

exactly what he said. It would do more harm then good. The fuel map and ignition timing change when the secondary lobes switch over for a reason.
