ok listen to this and see if anyone can xplain it
i was leaving my g/f's house tonight and when i started my car my windshield wipers were on but i checked the switch and it was in the off position
i moved it from off to int. then to med. then to high and then back to off and they're still on

wtf???

would this have anything to do w/ me taking out the windshield washer motor and the thing that you put the fluid in

Check the fuse that controls the wipers or it could be the switch is out of place. (i.e. its shows off but it on slow, etc..) Is your car still under warranty?

i'll check the fuse in the morning

no the switch isn't out of place
seems like it though
it is at the medium speed(the 1 right after int.)
when i put it on high it goes faster but i turn it off and it stays at the med. speed

warranty long gone

Also, resetting the ECU (unplugging the (-) terminal on the battery) may resolve this problem. If it doesn't, take it to you dealer they should be nice enough to fix it free of charge.

This is weird and I never thought this would come back to haunt me, but I use to repair and fix TRUCK winsheild wiper modules on a CO-OP when I was in school. The tracks may have burned out. There is a metal slide that sometimes burns out.

I would check Ebay first or hit a junk yard.

How many miles on the car, do you get a lot of rain where you live for yours to be used sooo much?

Peace
