what to do?

Hey guys i have a 2000 sir that has stock suspension on it right now. but i have H&R lowering springs that i swap with in the summer, now should just get adjustable shocks for them or sell the h&r and get some full coil overs like tein or eibach? are they better shocks? it for a daily driver. whats a good setup / name?

thanks

If its just for daily driving then the popular combo with those springs is the KYB AGX shocks. They aren't very expensive, and ride very nicely. I had this setup and enjoyed it a lot. If you want to spend a little more then Tokico Illuminas are quite good...as are Koni Yellows..but you're lookin at significantly more cash there and if it's just for daily driving I'd say it's not worth it.

Right now I have Tokico Illumina's in the fronts with Tokico blue's in the back. For springs i have the skunk2 adjustable coils. It's working good for me so far espcially since with the illumina's you can change the stiffness by simply turning the knobs with a screwdriver. And even on the stiffest setting, the Tokico's still have a pretty friendly ride quality. I really don't think you need the full coilover set if it's just a daily driver and you are satisfied with the ride height; any adjustable shock similar to the tokico illumina should be fine. JUST DON'T KEEP STOCK SHOCKS with new springs , unless you want to have your internal organs scrambled hehe .

Me: Sorry, I can't buy a condo at this development. I nearly ripped off the bottom of my car trying to get up your main driveway.
Salesman: Please reconsider! We are fully willing to level the driveway and sidewalk to accommodate your vehicle.
Me: *thinking* - must be desperate

h&r sports will drop it around 1.75" - 2" and the race springs will give it a 2.25'' drop.

most find the race springs too hard for the street anyway.
