What spark plugs should I switch to?

It's about time to get some new plugs...What do you guys think I should get?

My boss at work said that the bosh platinum +4 plugs.

What do you think?

Also I want to switch over to synthetic oil. My boss also recommended Castrol synthetic motor oil over Mobil 1.

Again what do you guys think?

Thanks

Personally I'd say stick with the NGK PFR6L-13 or Denso PK20PR-L13 plugs Honda recommends. As for the oil, almost everyone uses Mobil 1 or Redline but it all boils down to personal preference.
BTW..what does your boss do? Does he have any facts to back his choices and if he does please share them. Never know, maybe the Bosch +4 plugs and Castrol are better than we think.

Check out this link for a review on oil filters.

well bro, this is just personal preference,
but why do you think every, and i mean EVERY successful race team in the history of automobile (rally, NASCAR, NHRA, F1, CART, IRL etc etc) all use Mobil 1? thats what all us F/I guys use, and personally, i wouldnt even think of anything else.

i vote mobil one, i put it in my car and she wont see anything but mobil 1.

I really don't think it makes toooo much difference what motor oil your using. I mean, its not gonna give you HP gains. I've been using the Castrol Syntec since 3000 miles and the car has had noooo problems. Denso Iridium spark plugs are really good, but then again, its your preferance.

I guess it is preference. Castrol is good and so is Mobil. I also use Mobil 1 full synthetic, 5w-30. As far as plugs, why not use the stock plugs again? If not, NGK iridiums or Denso Iridiums should work well.

the bosch platinum +4 plugs are good, they will slightly improve your fuel economy, but don't do much for performance.

As for the motor oil, STAY AWAY FROM CASTROL SYNTEC.

here is why.

Castrol syntec is NOT a true synthetic oil. They simply purify and purify the normal oils until they approach the level of purity and consistency of a synthetic. They charge you the same $$$ but are selling you a lesser product. There are some lawsuits pending against Castrol b/c of this - advertising their product as a synthetic when in actuality it is not a synthetically made product. Their "defense" is that "well it works almost as well as a true synthetic."

Get mobil 1, 5w-30, or if you don't live in the desert, try the 0w-30.

Try to be consistent with what oil you use, don't use mobil 1 this week, then redline the next.

Thanks man...I'll use the Mobil 1

So the Bosh are good plugs, but I won't see any performance gain over the stocks?

What do you suggest going with?

Thanks

I used the bosch in my si. Really you shouldn't expect any performance gain from just spark plugs - unless your old plugs are worn out, then you'll "restore" power but don't get any real increase.
