being broke and horsepower don't exactly work out. i'm telling you from experience.

also, there is no such thing as an "EG Coupe" as your screen-name states.

truthness.

-depending on your climate, you can doo the TB coolant bypass.
-if you know what you're doing, you can rebuild your engine and throw in some new goodies (higher compression OEM pistons).
-definatly make sure al maintnace is up to date. No point in bolting on a header if the oil is 9000 miles old.

cheap speed, Nitrous will make you fast for relativly cheap. if you rtalking about comparing to swaps or turbo. but it can blow your shit up if its not done correctly or if you rmotor isnt in the best of shape. do the basics for now, tune ups and such, get plugs and wires, header, intake and exhaust, then save up for cams and intake manifold. after that you can go a few routes, chip your ecu or go stand alone and boost it, or get it ported and polished and go with a better valvetrain. There tons of ways to go. Do the basics first, then figure out which method of speed you want. start saving.

I agree with this but clearly is not cheap, if you don't have any money then just worry about your car having gas.
